Time - .. in the spirit world.
Whilst I suspect that there may be many varying views on this, there appears to
be one which is prevalent in most all religions, and belief systems, and that
is the eternity of the spirit world, and the soul. And even though I would
suggest this does not conclusively prove that time exists, or does not exist,
in the spirit world, it makes this somewhat easier to accept.
excellent place to start here is to look at your own being. Referring to previous
articles( and considering you are reading this), you are likely to agree at
this point that the soul is essentially eternal. It can not die, and lives on
forever "timelessly". Yes your being, or soul, is not in any way
controlled, limited or even seriously impacted upon by the time constraints set
by your current physical existence. It essentially lives outside of the
physical time constraints of the physical universe.
Let's consider another angle. What would your immortal soul need time for. Mmm....
to measure say..... Well, I have not been able to come up with anything that
would be important enough to measure.. Let's see.. Spiritual/ being growth?...
Worth measuring?.. Maybe, except only important to measure, if this was a
competition. Which it is not.... You will grow when you grow.... No faster or
slower, and your existence does not depend on the speed at which you do so,
since you simply do exist..
If we consider this some more, we would have no choice but to concede to the
obvious that a timeless existence would have no use for something as trivial as
time. This in mind I would suggest that it could be seen that the spirit world
is not bound by the constraints of something which it does not need, and it is
therefore also safe to deduct that the spirit world does not have time. Whilst
it constantly moves and changes, having a means of measuring this is purely a
physical instinct with no real basis or value in the spirit world.
Just to clarify, this does not mean that we do not have the ability to create
time in the spirit plane (also better known as the astral plane). As a powerful
being, if you so desire you would be, and are able to create time to suit your
specific need for measurement in this plane.
useful to know is that knowledge of the timelessness of the astral plane would
make it possible for you to, and with some practice, move around in different
times with techniques which include astral projection and lucid dreaming (to
name but a few)
Another issue which may be of interest in respect of this specifically is the
ability of your not physically associated soul (not occupying a body / between
incarnations), to move around and re-enter the physical timeline and at any
place and time it chooses. Yes... You could live a lifetime in the century 3000
AD now, and the next one could be 2500 BC, if you chose. (keeping in mind that
these mentioned timeframes do not even make up a speck of the possibilities
available to you) In fact you could be your own mother, or father, or even
I really want you to consider this very carefully and thoroughly. Think about
the possibilities. Expand your thinking on this, and consider how many places
and times you may have existed.... Yes think some more.... Think about how many
places and times you may still be going....
In conclusion it is
important to realize that there are in fact two timelines at work. The physical
universe timeline, and your personal timeline. Obviously the physical universe
has use for time, and as such it appears to exist in the milieu. Of course only
used in term of the needs of the beings living in it.
Your personal timeline,
extends far beyond your physical existence, and whilst measurable (applying
past memories to the mix) is somewhat useless, and therefore is not usually
created in an environment that does not require it. The spirit world being
timeless and all…. So as suggested before remember that the only time your are
in is "NOW"…
