A meditation is a silent, contained action. It activates the unspoken. It gives presence to the unseen. Sometimes meditations are long moments of silence or journeys into new vistas. Other times they are simple practices of communion with the Divine and the All. Usually, though, meditations are a private connection with the flows of the Divine.

This meditation is a simple practice that compliments your path to discovery. It meditation can open a profound and delicious relationship to the Divine and to the divinity in all of life. This single meditation can be done at almost any time and in almost any situation. The energies of it flow inward and outward. It activates all personal energy centers or chakras, and awakens pure heart expansion.

This meditation is timeless. It can become a life practice. I hope for many of you, that this will be a daily life practice and a source of many joyous blessings.

THE CHANT
ANYAKA (ahn - yah" - kah)

ANYAKA is one of the Alawashka words for acknowledge. It means "we acknowledge." It means we acknowledge, recognize, honor and appreciate. It also means that when we speak ANYAKA, we activate acknowledgment, recognition, honor and appreciation by saying this word aloud or feeling it within.

Alawashka words create the resonance. They are patterns of creation that generate. When you say ANYAKA, you are generating acknowledgment, appreciation, affirmation, confirmation, recognition and honor. These qualities flow into the world. They flow into you. They flow and expand in all directions. When you chant this word, you are generating and crating the flows of acknowledgment for all life.


THE PRACTICE
Center yourself.
You may take several slows deep breaths, to become calmer and more focused. The first time you do this meditation, you may want to close your eyes. It will help you feel the energies this word imparts. Later, when you are more familiar with the practice and feel, you can do this meditation anywhere - eye opened or closed, spoken silently or aloud.


Direct your attention to Yourself. You can imagine that you are focusing your attention to your heart or your full being. You can also, bow your head slightly so your imaginary gaze would be at your chest.

Say the word "ANYAKA" very slowly and direct its energy into your own being.


Direct your attention to the Divine. You can imagine that you are focusing your attention above you or into the skies. You can also lift your head slightly to your imaginary gaze is skyward.

Say the word "ANYAKA" very slowly and direct its energy to the Divine.


Direct your attention to the East. You can imagine you are looking toward the east or you can physically move your head or body in that direction.

Say the word "ANYAKA" very slowly and direct its energy to the east.


Direct your attention to the South. Imagine that you are focusing the energies of this sacred word to the south. You can turn your thoughts in that direction or turn to face south.

Say the word "ANYAKA" very slowly and direct its energy to the south.


Direct your attention to the West. Focus your thoughts and the energies of this word in a westerly direction. You can physically move your head or body in that direction.

Say the word "ANYAKA" very slowly and direct its energy to the West.


Direct your attention to the North You can imagine you are looking toward the north or you can physically move your head or body in that direction.

Say the word "ANYAKA" very slowly and direct its energy to the North.


Direct your attention to the Earth Imagine you are looking down to the body of our planet.

Say the word "ANYAKA" very slowly and direct its energy to the Earth.


Direct your attention to Yourself, once again. Focus your attention to your heart or your full being. Fell the circle of energy rest within you.

Say the word "ANYAKA" very slowly and direct its energy into your own being.


Take several slow, deep breaths and return to your normal focus.This beautiful and very simple meditation practice can create sweet miracles. I invite you to share it with your friends and to integrate it into your daily life.
