How and when and why we became so disconnected opens up endless questions and leaves us with a sense of betrayal and gross injustice. It is tragic to think that over time, man has forgotten his own true essence and replaced it with: a belief that we are born to die, to work and amass material things, to compete and compare, to function without too much thought or feeling and to turn ourselves into robots and focus only on survival or maintenance.|
If you think all of that is sad, then consider this: our natural state encompasses love, trust, security, joy, abundance, creativity, peace, total acceptance and spiritual connection.
We have exchanged media for wisdom, competition instead of uniqueness, money above relationships, possessions before laughter and even work above family. We have become so physically obsessed and materially driven, that for most of our lives we even forget to ask ourselves if we are O.K. Now, for many people, this question can’t be asked at all, even the suggestion that we might need to address it is just too painful and may well bring the house down.
The physicist may have tried to explain atoms being held together by magnetic forces, but I now have a question for the physicist, “When did mankind stop being held together with the magnetic forces of love and at what point did it become acceptable for love to be replaced by the forces of fear or insecurity?”
I accept that people do consider the opposite of love to be hate, however, for a long time I considered it to be indifference. I now believe that the opposite of love is FEAR. I also believe that the most destructive influence of life is fear. Probably, every negative influence we experience can be peeled away until we reveal fear. The core of anger is fear, as are jealously, insecurity, depression, illness and disease, greed, eating disorders, drug and alcohol and gambling addictions, and … well you continue the list.
Generation after generation has handed down fear. Much of it is well meaning, and obviously as very young children we needed to be protected by foreseeing potential dangers. But did we have to be so thoroughly bombarded with fear that we spend every waking moment clenching our jaws, hunching our shoulders and keeping constant vigil both within the present moment as well as all future imaginings. Have we completely shut ourselves off from the possibility that life could ever be a safe place?
Is it really incomprehensible that there is prosperity and abundance for everyone? Have we really accepted that love and joy are not available to us. Do we believe we have no control and no choice. Are we so afraid of our own spirituality that we instantly deny it each time we sense it.
Could we just spend one day in which we actually stay within it without racing our minds into some future catastrophe. Will you ever be enough or have enough. We are so bombarded with the belief that something is going to harm us, that many, many people are silently screaming and frantically racing towards what? Death? Now, here is the question to end all questions, “How is it working for you?”
Fear is nothing more than an imagined future event with the worst possible outcome.
Consider comparing all of your past fears to all the real outcomes and what you would find is this, almost every thing you ever feared did not happen. You might also consider that most of the fear you may ever have will also probably never happen. Now, “How does that work for you?”
In re-assessing the concept that physical matter is energy, you may also entertain the idea that thoughts, words, emotions and actions are also energies. Then, you might just explore the possibility that these energies all have their own frequencies and magnetic attractions.
You might also remember that when you have felt joyful or loving you may have acknowledged that your body felt light, healthy and energised. Whereas, if you have ever been really depressed or stressed, the opposite was true, often a depressed person can’t get out of bed, they look and feel so old, tired and heavy and even their thinking becomes muddled.
Another interesting discovery that you may make, is that when you are light and feel love or joyful some miraculous attraction comes into play and really nice things happen, people are optimistic and friendly, you look and feel younger healthier and more attractive.
The same magnetic attraction works on negative frequencies. The day you are most tired and stressed is the day the kids are their most aggravating, work produces your most irritating client, there is never a car park and no one is around to support or assist you.
Fear, illness, insecurity, jealously, fatigue and anger etc. are coarse, heavy, and dark energies, and cannot be maintained if you are aligned with love on a higher frequency.
In the ocean of energy in which we exist, we will find that the law of “Like attracts Like” is in fact the secret to creating our own lives.
As sources of energy will synchronise with similar energies, in my overly simplified explanation of this, I have a scale in which love is the highest, finest and lightest frequency, fear is the heaviest, coarsest and darkest frequency, and probably indifference is the centre.
Our ability to improve our own lives requires attuning ourselves with the highest, lightest frequencies. For your own comfort you may call this God, The Source, Universal Intelligence or whatever you feel is comfortable or acceptable as your understanding of creation. To synchronize with this level, you will have to deliberately align yourself with this frequency, ideally, through love, but possibly through happiness, optimism, generosity or any light combination of thought and emotion.
Deliberately or consciously changing your own personal energy is very, very possible. I’m not asking you to take what I say and agree or disagree. I am putting it to you to do it, as it all means nothing unless you experience it. Play with it, practise it and become so sure of it that you make each and every day a creation of your own making.
Apart from the mammoth task of dismantling most of what you have been conditioned to believe and sending yourself nuts for a while as you vigilantly scan or question most of your thoughts, beliefs and reactions and taking on board the possibility that everyone who knows you will wonder if you are stoned or mad, then it’s probably very easy.
Sadly, the hardest part in getting there and staying there is the fact that we have forgotten how to love. We have probably not forgotten how to love ourselves, we probably never even knew it was possible. If we could remember a time in which we did fully and consistently love ourselves, then we would weep for the injustice of having it taken from us.
Perhaps you may have to pretend or trick yourself into loving yourself initially. You may even experience a strong opposition or discomfort with it, but do stay with it. After all, it is just a new habit that you are trying to create.
There are many ways of letting yourself feel self-love and many things you could do to increase your sense of joy and happiness.
I have found that meditation is the most powerful, consistent and easiest technique I know. If you feel uncomfortable with the idea of meditating you may find prayer an easier concept. You may start out by thinking love, if you can’t go directly to love, then think about things you love or people you love. At a stretch, imagine something that you sense could be love.
Visualizing white light being poured into your head and flowing throughout your body is also good, as white light is commonly referred to or perceived to be love. Many healers visualize white light as a symbol of purity, protection and healing energy.
If you consciously practise doing this at least on waking and just before sleeping at night, you will not only be reinforcing a new habit, but you will very soon find your ability to get into a light frequency becomes easier and faster. In no time at all you will find yourself pulling in love or light throughout the day. Of course, the ultimate is to live every minute of every day in this state.
The question now becomes, “Are you satisfied to have only accidental good fortune or are you willing to become the creator of your own life?”
It may seem inconceivable that we may be able to think our future into reality, manifest events and prosperity, create or influence relationships, heal our bodies or to have and be everything we desire simply by willing it into being.
Of course it’s possible. A simply mental survey of your past thought patterns will certainly reveal that you are already exactly who and how you are as a sum total of your past belief system. It is only the occasional accidents or epiphanies (Ah-Ha moments) that ever really took you off course. Almost everything else was pre-determined by belief, thought, emotion and behaviour.
Probably no one will ever fully master the art of choosing every thought they have, nor will they maintain a sense of love and light every waking moment. So, maybe you won’t find complete enlightenment and maybe you won’t achieve mastery over every aspect of your life, but if you do stay in the lightest frequencies as often as you can for as long as you can, then you will be aligning yourself to the creative forces. Evidence or proof of this limitless power will very quickly convince you that it is a very, very good place to be.
Great things will happen very quickly; magical, unbelievable, miraculous things. Not only will you be blown away by these amazing possibilities, but you will also become so accustomed to feeling light and love, that just the pure physical and emotional joy will have a powerful radiance, so much so, that people around you will be affected. In fact, you will be a virtual healing energy within your own right. Imagine if your energy is transferred to the energy of those around you and they then carry that energy with them.
On a final note, it is worth acknowledging that, what you put out is what comes back. Your light is a powerful healing source and as it carries forward it acts as a powerful and contagious influence. On a universal scale, we play our part in lifting the Earth’s vibrations, and in doing so we create and maintain life as it is meant to be. We discover our true purpose and that is that we are co-creators of life itself.
