Meditator level : Intermediate – Advanced

In order to get the best benefit from this, it may be useful if the meditator is reasonably proficient in meditative visualization, including basic controlled object visualization as well as complete visualized comprehension of the energy of the objects in question.

The objective of this guided meditation is to offer a combined for best benefit guided meditation with visualization including the use of a western Reiki symbol that offers continued short and long term benefit for improvement of general health as well as  for assisting in resolution of specific ailments.  Especially making focus on the latter easier.

The symbol : The occupier

The symbol essentially consists of 3 parts :

1.                  Receiver : Acts as a receiver of universal energy, which the body is able to use for re-balancing.

2.                  Occupier : The circular portion of the symbol essentially seeks and occupies the affected areas of the body which are in misalignment.  The part of the symbol is fluid, and will take on the shape of the imbalance when found.  It will source balancing energy from the receiver which will continuously renew the energy contained in the occupier for improved long term benefit to the user.

3.                  Earth link or Anchor : A part of the balancing process which includes cleansing, and continued drainage of overflow.  This part of the symbol is responsible for making sure this happens.  When using this symbol it is important that this is anchored to earth.

When applying this symbol you can apply this essentially in two ways. 

a)                 Apply the symbol to the entire body, and allow the symbol to find its own way to any areas of ailment / imbalance on it’s own, whether in your awareness or not.  Noting that the imbalances that are the largest will likely attract the symbol first.

b)                 Apply the symbol to a specific area of imbalance that is already in your awareness.  Eg.  Not happy with your eye sight.  Apply the symbol to your eyes specifically. Note that it is important that you not force the symbol to take on a specific shape.  It is best for you to allow it to find the best shape for healing.  Also keep in mind that since this is a source of imbalance driven symbol, you might find during your meditation that the symbol goes somewhere that you did not expect it to go. The symbol seeks out the cause of ailments, and resolves those first, and then worries about the symptom areas of the body.  And of course the body will tell it where it needs it. 

It may prove useful to be aware that this symbol is focussed on providing continued support even after the applicative action of the symbol has ceased.  So the healing should continue even after you have stopped meditating.

The Meditation

If you have some means of recording the meditation, for playback, this may increase the value of this guided meditation for you somewhat as you can focus on the visualization activities rather than trying to remember the meditation sequence.

The best time to do this meditation is at the end of your meditation session, or when you are already in a meditative state.  However if this is not possible, you are likely to get the best benefit if you do a simple breathing exercise in preparation for this meditation following this rhythm.

·                     Breathe in (counting 4 (about 4 seconds) (does not have to be out loud))

·                     Hold your breath for 16 counts

·                     Breathe out over 8 counts.

·                     Repeat this at least 3-4 times as needed.

·                     Do so with your eyes closed, in preparation for the guided meditation, focusing and clearing your mind as you do this.

·                     Take a little time to completely focus your mind.

Once you have reached a relaxed or light meditative state listen to (or follow) the following guided meditation :

 

“So lets start by taking one more slow breath, in….. and out….. 

Your mind is now clear. 

Now slowly open your mind’s eye, and as you do so, you start to feel the gentle inflow of blue light, slowly illuminating your mind, more… more…. Until it is completely illuminated.

In front of you.. slowly appears the occupier.  Moving towards you and to within your reach. 

Watch as the occupier starts to take on universal energy through the receiver.  The body of the occupier starts to change shape until it is now a fluid sphere of energy suspended in front of you.

From the bottom of the sphere extends an anchor. Take the anchor and stretch the bottom of the anchor until it touches the ground, which has also moved to within reach. 

The anchor is now in place.

Bring into consciousness the specific area of imbalance you wish to treat, and slowly move the occupier until it completely covers the entire area of imbalance. 

….

Watch the occupier as it starts to take on the shape of the imbalance.  Allow it to shape and evolve on it’s own. …..

Start to feel the energy take hold of the imbalanced area, and feel as it flows through, cleansing and restoring the imbalance, moving from the received into the occupier and through out the anchor into earth.  Lets continue to feel this for a moment….

Leaving the occupier in place, it is time to return.  Lets start by taking a deep breath.. in…… and out……

Slowly start closing your minds eye.. close … close…. and now slowly open your eyes. 

…..

Slowly start to feel control return to your body and the limbs of your body, ….  

….

Start moving around slowly…

….

You are awake and feeling refreshed….

It is useful when recording this meditation to allow for some time between each step so your mind can catch up.  Of course this is as you wish or need.  (the “….” Have been placed to help you find some important areas for some open time)

Of course if you do not wish to record this meditation, simply follow the meditation through doing the actions reflected in this guided meditation, this should work just as well, except for requiring a little more repetition of the meditation before this can come to full benefit levels. 

Also note that a little and quick thought after completion of the meditation on the continued presence of the occupier, and a sense of the ongoing flow of energy should help to maintain the effectiveness of the treatment long after you have moved on to other things.

You can use this as needed, however this should be considered as a long term type treatment which will offer the most benefit if utilized over a period of time.  Thus for the most benefit apply frequently.
