As 2012 approaches, many faithful people anticipate the End Times with joy or fear. What little is known about the End Times is distorted by false beliefs. By recontexting beliefs about the End Times and Judgment Day we hope to clear up a great injustice, and perhaps prevent many people from bringing harm upon themselves.|
It is clear that many people fear the End Times while others anticipate the End Times with joy. Those who fear the days to come may be atheists or agnostics who anticipate that the ever-increasing religious fervor of true believers may initiate a time of religious persecutions.
Some true believers fear for their souls, uncertain of their salvation, but for those faithful who sincerely believe they are the righteous chosen people of God there is no fear, for they believe they will be swept up in the Rapture, an event in which God removes all the righteous from earth, preserving them from harm.
For some, the faithful will be swept up from the earth before the Tribulations and End Times.
Others argue that the Rapture will occur during or following the Tribulations. The Tribulations will be a time of war on earth between Christ and Antichrist.
This war is typically characterized as the ultimate war between good and evil.
The faithful believe that following the Tribulations and End Days God will sit in judgment over every human soul; He is expected to raise all good souls into Heaven and condemn all evil souls to eternity in Hell.
However, what are good and evil?
We consider God to be all merciful, all loving, all compassionate, in short, all good. Since God is all powerful, all wise, and our Supreme Creator, God only creates good. By His own will, God does not create evil, not ever.
Therefore, nothing in God’s creation can be evil.
If evil may be said to have any authentic existence, it must first be created by humans.
God gave humans the power to be creators when he gave them free will. All evil is the product of human abuse of free will to deliberately, maliciously cause harm to oneself or others.
It takes no Devil to tempt humans to hurt themselves. It requires no demons to cajole people to hurt each other. Human propensities for greed and lust fuel our will to compete with each other, to dominate each other.
We do not need to be tempted to do evil; we are able to create our own temptations.
However, humans like to shift blame; humans like to avoid responsibility.
Rather than own up to our own malicious intentions, we prefer to say we were tricked into doing harm. We prefer to pretend a supernatural entity more powerful than ourselves is responsible for our own evil.
When we are unable to accept the existence of evil within our own hearts we project our own evil outside of ourselves, we blame someone else.
In our extremis, when we die, we meet our Creator face to face. We expect to be judged by our Creator because we have already judged and condemned ourselves in our own hearts.
However, God is all merciful, all loving, all benevolent; God never judges us.
We meet the aspect of God known as Christ when we die.
If we are still in denial of our own evil, or if we are still in a state where we believe we must be condemned, then we psychologically project our own evil and see it in the face of God, personified by Christ. Christ appears to be the Devil because our perceptions of Him have been distorted by our own guilt, fear, anger, and hatred.
The evil being we believe we see before us is really our Savior, but we clothe Him in our own projections and illusions of evil; we see Him falsely, as a demonic being, a devil.
The devil, also known as Satan, simply personifies our own evil, not the evil of a spiritual being. This projected personification of our own will to do evil in the person of Christ masquerading as Satan is not evil in and of itself, but only represents our own evil to us.
We are our own tempters. We are our own deceivers. We are our own adversaries.
However, we only direct ourselves toward evil due to ignorance.
Lucifer, the Angel of Light helps enlighten us to the nature of our own evil so that we may choose a better path. Lucifer, Satan, and all manners of angelic or demonic beings do not wish us to do evil; they only wish us to learn from our mistakes so that we do not repeat them.
All spiritual beings love God and serve Him faithfully, without exception, including Lucifer, Satan, the Devil and all other angels or demons.
God removed the free will of angels and demons by commanding them to serve all humans in all things. They have no choice in the matter. They must always serve us.
Since all people make mistakes and sometimes hurt either themselves or other people, our angels and demons must help us make our mistakes because God commanded it. So, while angels and demons do help us to do evil, they are never evil in and of themselves.
The story of fallen angels who defied God is a myth.
The war between good and evil will not be waged on Earth, not ever, because God will not create evil. Instead, this war can only take place in our own hearts and minds.
The war between Good and Evil is indeed a battle for our souls, but it is a battle that we must always win because God is always all merciful, all forgiving, and all loving. God will never allow us to condemn ourselves to hell eternally for our mistakes.
It is by our own guilt-wracked judgments against ourselves that we condemn ourselves to Hell, but it is by God’s Grace, Mercy, and Wisdom that we are always restored to innocence and are ultimately reborn as eternal beings of light.
In light of this truth, that we alone are the creators of our own evil, it is silly to believe there can really be a war in which Christ and Antichrist square off to claim our souls.
What may happen depends on what you believe.
If you still believe that Christ and Antichrist must duke it out for ruler-ship of the planet Earth, then you will experience that when the End Times come for you. If you believe we must atone for our sins then atonement will be part of your experience.
However, for those who know the truth, the End Times mark the final stages of our Ascension, the collective apotheosis of the human race. At that time, we will all be raised up together; none shall be left behind, not one.
