Non-consciousness includes Sub-consciousness, Unconsciousness, Collective Consciousness, Species Consciousness, and Super-Consciousness.
Consciousness and co-consciousness might be considered the opposites of non- consciousness. Our human awareness typically focuses upon or illuminates only a small part of our minds. Those parts of our minds illuminated by our awareness are our consciousness.
Co-consciousness is a special state of self-awareness when we may feel aware of ourselves both as a conscious being who acts in the real world, and as a more detached observer who only observes us or quietly narrates our own behavior to ourselves.
Non-Consciousness is the sum of all forms of cognitive processing of our thoughts and emotions that is beyond the scope of our personal awareness.
In alchemy, the non-consciousness is known as the shadow, or, sometimes, the black man. The role of the shadow is to balance the alchemist"s work. Alchemy only works well for those who know themselves very well, however, most people know little about their own non-consciousness or shadows.
Occult sciences such as alchemy, tarot, runes, astrology, numerology, etc, all teach their students how to access their own, personal occult minds, the hidden parts of their own minds that define their own non-consciousness.
Without a thorough understanding of your non-consciousness you cannot know the ways in which you deliberately, albeit, unconsciously sabotage your lives. Nor can you seek help from yourself as a more evolved, nearly angelic, spiritual being, because clear, reliable access to non-conscious parts of your mind is always required to use these personal resources effectively to create you own miracles in your own lives.
