We all strive for success in our magical workings, and certainly in our everyday lives. The Moon is the closest heavenly body to Earth and it definitely has a strong influence on our day to day lives. The simple task of noting when the Moon is Void of Course is a good start toward achieving a positive outcome in your endeavors.

What does Void of Course mean? The Moon becomes void when it is not making any major aspects to the other planets. Think of it as a brief rest period for the Moon, just before it begins its path into the next astrological sign. This happens frequently during the month, about 11 or 12 times on the average. The Moon can remain Void of Course for a time period ranging from just a few minutes, several hours, to a day or more.

It’s not that something bad will happen during this time period, it’s much more likely that nothing much at all will happen. It’s not a great time to communicate. Letters, e-mails, and phone calls often go unanswered. Your best efforts tend to go unnoticed by others during this brief period of time. That is why it is best not to make any major changes or new beginnings during the Void of Course Moon. Just to be on the safe side, try to schedule that important appointment, the opening of a new business, or any major project for a time when the Moon is not void.

It is a good time to just take it easy, relax, meditate, and most importantly remember that this too shall pass.
