As most of you have experienced, the eclipses in July have kept us hopping! And, we have one more eclipse to come on August 5th. After that, we should find that our lives return to "normal" for a few weeks, but beginning August 20th Mercury will come to a square (negative) with Mars, and this will last through Labor Day. We will probably find ourselves struggling to stay afloat as August ends.
August begins with Venus and Pluto at a standoff. There could be some extra expenses, romantic excitement, and maybe some jealousy through the weekend of August 1st. We should also find that people are listening to us, so we need to say what we mean through Monday, August 3rd.
The eclipse will hit on Wednesday, August 5th, at 8:39 PM EDT. Its going to be a very minor eclipse, and just the edge of the Earth"s shadow will cross the Moon. Most of us who can view it probably won"t even be able to recognize it. But, this eclipse is in Aquarius, so expect the unexpected. There is no predicting what Aquarius will do, but it usually means change.
After the eclipse, the rest of the week should be pretty smooth sailing. There could be some problems over the weekend of August 8th with Mars and Saturn mad at each other. Mars is energy and Saturn is discipline. We may find that we don"t accomplish much, and we feel guilty about it.
By Tuesday, August 11th, we should that our energy has returned, and we are making progress on all of our projects. This energy will continue for most of the week, but there could also be wasteful extravagance, especially on Friday, August 14th.
The weekend of August 15th is going to be busy, and the stars are going to be dancing through Monday. Our energy will be strong and optimistic. There could be some strong steamy romance in the air, and our minds will be serious. Some will be over indulging in their addictions. If you are in recovery, you may want to try to catch a meeting this weekend, especially if you have been under extra stress.
There is a very strong potential for accidents on Monday and Tuesday, August 17th and 18th, and many of us are going to be feeling restless anyhow. Think twice and stay alert, especially if you are driving. That restless feeling will probably be annoying most of us through the whole week, and our minds will probably not be thinking too rationally. Postpone any major decisions.
We will probably find that our hearts and our minds get a nice boost over the weekend of August 22nd. Some of us may get some extra special rewards. We may not win the lottery, but our sweetie may just stop and pick some flowers for us. We may also initiate some positive changes in our lives.
As the new week begins on August 24th, we will probably be finding it difficult to communicate. Some people may even respond rather aggressively. There could also be bad news and explosive situations through Thursday, August 27th.
Even though Mercury"s retrograde does not begin until September 7th, Mercury will be slowing down around this time. And, it just so happens, as he is slowing down, and he will be at a negative angle to Mars. So, things will start feeling like Mercury"s retrograde at this time. Back up your computers, and be prepared for Internet problems. In fact, with Mars involved, there is a strong tendency that our transportation will be affected. If your car needs a tune-up, get it done early in the month.
Outside of the Mercury/Mars communication and transportation problems, the weekend of August 29th though the end of the month should be a good time for business, work, and wrapping up any loose ends.
Mercury will be in retrograde most of the month of September, and we may find we have to put our lives and our plans on hold for a while. Check back next month to find out more.
